Nicosia is an inland capital and one of the hottest places in Cyprus in summer. Its hotel pools are about cooling off in the city rather than a trip to the beach. In the city centre, a hotel has an outdoor pool a short walk from the old town walls. In Engomi, a residential and business district west of the centre, a larger hotel has an outdoor pool with sunbeds in its grounds.
The pools here open in summer, from May to October, for a few hours on a hot day without the drive to the coast. Each hotel sets its own hours and age rules, so check the pass details before you go.
